It was mid July, Hot sultry night the neon light said welcome
So I stopped in to see what’s shaken
There’s a pretty girl sitting at the end of the bar,
So I walk on up and asked her if this seat is taken

I said I think so, can I buy you a round

Well we sat and talked and we drank awhile
We really hit it off, so I asked her to walk to my place she just smile
She said woo, what is this all about?
I don’t know, She said I’m having some doubt

happily living our lives

So luckily she agreed
She grabbed me by the hand and we walked on down the street
And I made her smile and she made feel
