Did you read about it the news today a little girl just 5 yrs. old got shot and blown away she died a gang of kids opened fire driving by she was in the wrong place at the wrong time did you read about it the news today they had a suspect in the shooting but he got away he lied he said he wasn’t there the day she died he had someone there to back his alibi holding back the tears cause I read about it every single day I’m going through the years hoping that there is a way to change the world did you read about it in the news today they caught the guy who burnt that building yesterday he took two lives a father lost his daughter and his wife imagine trying to start a whole new life did you read about it the news today they found another homeless victim passed away but no one cried no one even cared that woman died everything she owned was at her side holding back the tears cause I hear about it every single day I’m going through the years hoping that there is a way to change the world
